Grant GDD Ysgol Gymraeg Brynsierfel 2024-2025
Dyrennir y Grant Datblygu Disgyblion (GAD) i ysgolion â disgyblion sy’n dod o deuluoedd incwm isel ac y gwyddys ar hyn o bryd eu bod yn gymwys i gael prydau ysgol am ddim (e-FSM) a disgyblion sydd wedi bod yn derbyn gofal yn barhaus am fwy na oni mis ( LAC). Disgwylir i ysgolion wneud y defnydd gorau o’r cyllid hwn i roi strategaethau cynaliadwy ar waith a fydd yn sicrhau newidiadau’n gyflym i ddysgwyr sy’n gymwys i gael prydau ysgol am ddim neu sy’n derbyn gofal.
Fel ysgol rydym wedi cytuno ar y tri cham canlynol:
1. nodi’r grŵp targed o ddisgyblion, ei nodweddion, a’i anghenion
2. cynllunio ymyraethau sy’n gwneud y defnydd mwyaf effeithiol o adnoddau.
3. monitro a gwerthuso effaith adnoddau.
Yn 2024-25 rhoddwyd dyraniad GDD o £64,400 i Ysgol Gymraeg Brynsierfel
Mae gennym gynllun cynhwysfawr, y cytunwyd arno ac a fonitrir gan Awdurdod Lleol Sir Gaerfyrddin a Phartneriaeth, i hyrwyddo cynnydd a dileu rhwystrau i ddysgu i fyfyrwyr sy’n gymwys ar gyfer y cyllid hwn.
PDG Grant 2024-2025
The Pupil Development Grant (PDG) is allocated to schools with pupils who come from low-income families and are currently known to be eligible for free school meals (e-FSM) and pupils who have been looked after continuously for more than six months (LAC). Schools are expected to make the best use of this funding to implement sustainable strategies that will quickly bring about changes for learners eligible for free school meals or who are LAC.
As a school we have agreed the following three steps:
- to identify the target group of pupils, its characteristics, and needs
- to plan interventions which make the most effective use of resources.
- to monitor and evaluate the impact of resources.
In 2024-25 Ysgol Gymraeg Brynsierfel was provided with a PDG allocation of £64,400
We have a comprehensive plan, agreed and monitored by Carmarthenshire Local Authority and Partneriaeth, to promote progress and remove barriers to learning for students eligible for this funding
